I have heard that the honey cheerios are good for puppies because they do need the sugar. Tatum really loves her Cheerio treats.... they are especially good for training!

Yes, you are right, they only have one gram of sugar, but 20 grams of carbohydrates which are also sugars. Complex sugars, but sugars non the less. If you look on the nutritional panel of the box, modified corn starch, and sugar, are the second and third ingredients. The ingredients are listed in order of quantity. A little never hurts anybody, but if yours is a puppy under 3 pounds, definitely watch out on the quantity of that snack, otherwise you could get a porky-yorky!

I found out by accident that my Bailey and my Havanese Shelby looove the gerber graduate puffs and yogurt melts. They sit and stalk the baby when she has them waiting for a stray one to fall. Not sure if they are the best for them but I could get them to do cartwheels for one of those yogurt melts if I wanted..lol.

Smelly Cheerios! I have always used reg. Cheerios but had to stop giving them to Chloe Primrose because of bad gas. I do love Gerbers graduates fruit pieces. It is freeze-dried, all natural, no preservatives. She loves them, in fact, so do I.
