| I thought I lost Caesar He had his shots yesterday. He's never had a problem with them before. Several ours later he collapsed. He couldn't stand up. He was shaking all over and his head was bobbing. Scared the heck out of me. I wasn't sure what it was, but I did the first thing I could think of, while I called the vet. I poured pancake syrup on the counter and started scooping it into his mouth with my finger. He perked up some right away and by the time we got to the vet, he was quite a bit better. They took him away from me as soon as I walked in the door and they did a blood sugar test. By that time is blood sugar was up to 84, which, I guess, is the low end of normal, although they would like it to be 100. The dogtor saw us and ordered an injection of benedryl. We discussed spreading out is vaccinations and that's when I found out they gave him Lepto. I told her no more Lepto. He was back to normal before bedtime. It sure scared me, though. I lost Lucy in September and I couldn't bare to lose him, too. |

On a side note did you mean to type "dogtor" instead of doctor? Because I really like that term and think I may just have to borrow it.

| I like "dogtor" too. Glad Baxter is doing good. I know that must have been so scary.
