| Need some Advise I get my baby next week and I was wanting to know where do yall keep your baby when he comes home. I'm thinking about buying a playpen to put him in when I'm doing something or when I go run errands instead of putting him in a crate. Have any of you ever used a playpen for your baby. Thanks |

| Playpens are good if you have the room Just make sure that it can't be squeezed out of or gnawed in anyway

| Lilly stays in a crate. She HATED the play area (Pin) that was set up...She busted through it..It was either total freedom or put her in the crate for her Crating will make it easier to potty train, I think.

YT Addict | yes I have use crates and a play pen, and puppy pen. I have to say the best way is to get a crate and puppy pen. You put them together and the puppy can sleep and lie down in the crate but come out into the puppy pen to go potty on tt pads and eat or drink. This works great. The only thing bad about a play pen is cleaning it. You have to put something down inside it because you can wash it. Just an idea |

| I would recommend an exercise pen. You can put his crate in the x-pen with the door off, then you will have room for his food, water and pee pads. Your puppy will have room to move around and play but he will not be able to get into things while you are gone. Most yorkies can be confined in the 24" high x-pen but some of them learn to jump or climb out of them so it will depend on how big your yorkies is as to what size you would need. |

| I liked the idea of putting a crate in the playpen. You can put blankets in the crate so she/he can have a place to snuggle up and sleep.
