| breakaway collars I"ve seen many of you on here reference to the "breakaway collars". I know I bought Turk a cat collar, but I'm not sure if it's a "breakaway" or not. His has a plastic clasp that you squeeze to open. Is this the same? Thanks |

| I don't think so. If you can pull it apart without touching/pressing the plastic clasp, it's probably a breakaway collar.

| I make break-away collars - the buckles are aka "kitty klips" The red arrows in the picture below point to the difference. The flat side on the break-away buckle on the left allows the buckle to come apart when about 4 lbs. of pressure and twisting is exerted on the buckle. |
