I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I was so nervous before Joey got neutered, and so glad when it was over. You might want to remind your friend, that most Yorkies don't lose all their baby teeth on their own, and we usually have the remaining baby teeth pulled when they are being altered, that way, they only have to go under the anesthesia once, and the price for pulling the teeth is really cheap. A double row of teeth can cause serious problems later on. Many vets know this, but unless a vet has had lots of experience with Yorkies, he doesn't automatically suggest this.
