| 8 Pups Born to Mother Yorkie?!?! HOLY! That poor dog - that's alot to carry. I just happen to run across this breeder that had an article in her local paper about her female having 8 pups! I after I read that she was selling "Tea cups" at a higher price I stopped looking at her website, but still wanted to post so you guys could read the article about the 8 pups. Available pups

| Yea, she does have a lot of dogs. Is having 8 really breaking a record? My Sassy had 7 her first litter, glad her litters have gotten smaller sincebut it seems like I have seen people post here talking about their dog having large litters also. |

| I'm not a breeder, so I never heard of such large litters before... Either way that's alot for a tiny dog like a yorkie! I'm just glad she made it through.

| Lilly came from a litter of 9 and her mom was not a "teapot". I couldn't believe it! Diesel was in a litter of 5.

| Juicy was in a liter of seven, when it came time to choosing my baby it seemed somewhat difficult but when I saw her I knew she was the one.

| The one on here that had 10 though was 20 lbs, which is not the "average" size of most yorkies. The one the op is talking about having 8 could also be a bigger yorkie Mom. |

| I probably shouldn't be so ticked off by this breeder but honestly I get the sense that she'll probably breed this same yorkie her next heat to see if she can get 8 more... the goose that laid the golden eggs!! Yikes!! |
