| Information needed ASAP Does white hair on the head of a yorkie mean anything other than she has some white hair? I plan on traveling to view her Saturday morning unless this is a disclaimer. PLease let me know. |

| Some Yorkies go through a short period when they are about 3 mos old where they have white on the top of their heads. Its called breaking white. It eventually turns to gold or tan

| I have a girl that is six months old here from a HUGE show kennel line and her head is whaite as cotton. Her daddy's was too until he turned about 18 months old and now it is the prettiest gold you ever saw!!!!!! Cachi is right. Most yorkies do break white on their heads. Some earlier than others but it does eventually turn gold or tan. No worries here. |

| Pasquale was all black when he was a baby...then he broke white on top of his head. My mom use to call him the old man. Now he's 7 months old (sorta still a baby) and its turning to a beautiful gold. I'm loving it!

| Diesel's head was entirely black when we got him, then it turned white for a few weeks, then absolutely grey/silver. Finally, when he was about 8 months old, it turned tan! His & Larkin's babies are starting to have white/silver through the tops of their heads. I have no doubt that they will turn either tan (like Dies) or gold/blonde (like Larkin's)! Wait it out, their beauty (or more beauty) is yet to come! |

YT 1000 Club Member | Roxie had white on her head. It was white underneath of the black tipping. After her first or 2nd grooming the black had all been cut off and all the white turned to gold. I love all the gold on her head and hubby was sad when they cut off all of the black puppy hair when she was a baby. I was trying to post a pic of it but it says my file size is too large and I can't figure out how to downsize it!! |

YT 1000 Club Member | I'll try posting a pic of Roxie when she was a baby and one of now. You can see the white underneath the black on her head and how gold it is now. Oops! I put them in the wrong order but I'm sure you can tell which ones which! Last edited by roxies_mom; 01-02-2009 at 07:10 AM. |

| Diva went through that as well. The first picture is how she looked when we brought her home. My step mother said it looked like she needed to get her roots dyed. The second one is just two months later! Last edited by JNichelle; 01-02-2009 at 07:26 AM. |
