There are days..... ....and then there are days......days when Higgins is just soooo good and soooo cute that we fall in love with him all over again. It's been a really rainy weekend here in Maine and we've been stuck inside. But Higgins got his exercise tearing around the house and amusing both of us with his antics. He has an "exercise routine" now and you can practically count the "reps" and the "sets" he does! It usually starts with a Flump Workout. Do your doggies have Flumps? Big cotton rag balls that Higgins LOVES to wrestle and toss and push around with his rump......sooooo funny. Watching him was way better than watching the movies we bought for the rainy weekend...... Hope you all had a great weekend with your Yorkies, too! Mary Ellen

It's just amazing how sensitive our little guys are to what we are doing and feeling......When Don was sick, both dogs were quiet and "worried" about him. Missed him terribly when he was in the hospital, sleeping on his bed and wandering around the house looking lost. Both also seem to know that when we are in the car, there is no fooling around. They are quiet and mannerly for hundreds of miles, most often just sleeping. The BEST travelers! And oh my, if Don and I should have a tiff (very seldom, but once in awhile a few sharp words), they look just stricken, which straightens us right up! They are truly little children......

Little children that can be VERY sneaky! One of my favorite times is when I come home and Yoda warmly greets me and licks me all over. He's just sooooo happy to see me. Makes me feel good even when I've had a lousy day.
