| Update on I am starting to dislike Baxter a lot! Baxter has matured considerably in the last 3 months. He is now 10 months old and seems to be calming down. He is now sleeping through the night about every other night. He has stopped chewing on the walls!! He will chew on anything else but no longer the walls. He is doing much better with his house-training and seldom has an accident. He will come whine when he needs to go out. He does not attack the bigger outside dog so much anymore. Only occasionally. He and I are getting along much better and I have decided that he is going to make a great pet! He is very smart and will go fetch all day long if you will throw something for him. He is turning into a sweet young man instead of the tazmanian devil that we experienced from about 4 months to 7 months. I am so thankful that he has calmed down. He will actually sit in my lap at times and just let me pet him. I guess it was just a matter of him maturing. I am hoping for the same amount of maturity in the next 2 months. We are going to be most happy together! |

| That is great! I love to see how yorkies changes from when they were itsy bitsy pups. Breyli would barely sit still when I got her and now she is content to just sit on my lap and snuggle while I do my school work cause she kno the sooner I'm done, the sooner for playtime. |

| Wonderful news about Baxter. The first few months with Scooter were pretty tense because he has soooooooooo much energy. He's not quite so bad now (after 1 year) but he and I have come to an understanding and I simply adore him. He is my wild child and I love him.

| So glad you didn't give up! Me either! My "little devil" Max was giving us a run for our money when we got him in April at 9 months. Finally, finally, finally over the past month or so, he has changed dramatically. He's calmer, listens better, etc. Except for his constant need to shred everything he comes in contact with - he's wonderful!

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I had a similar experience with Dayzee--she was crazy from 4 pm to 9 pm every day. She is now 3 years old and she has finally settled down so it nice to hear of other Yorkies settling down. |

| Glad to hear it has gotten better for you. I have some days that I don't think I can take hearing one more bark but then I get that precious look and all is forgotten. lol... I am such a sucker.

| Ok we have not hit the 4months old stage yet. I've pulled out all but 7 hairs on my head since getting Marley! Like someone said, when I hit the door at 4:30 pm till 9 pm he is on the GO! Shreds everything, attacks my older girl, so I have to keep them separated. His potty training is going ..ok, he still poops in the corner if I don't catch him in time. We go out every hour when I'm home. He is going to be the death of me. Now if I was not so dang in love with the little critter, I'd put him on the corner and offer hoover services... Hehehe I can't wait ..or guess I'll have to.......to the day when you can actually love on him without getting a pierced lip or nose! I know it is in fashion now, but geesh!

| Baxter will still shred any paper he can get his mouth on. one thing that has helped with that is I cut about 2 inches off the bottom of an old t shirt and then tied 3 knots in it. He will shake that and chew on it for a good while. And play tug of war with it. Cheapest toy yet. He doesn't bark much thankfully. Mainly when he is back talking me. I swear he talks back. Last night I was fussing at him for not letting me brush and we had a five minute conversation with him making ewok sounds. I just encourage anyone who is going through what I was to hang in there - it does get better. |

| I guess I just showed my age. Watch the movie The Return of the Jedi. I am a big Star Wars fan. And sometimes Baxter is so much like an Ewok. |
