Help me name my furbaby - YorkieTalk.com Forums

I'm going to be getting my new furbaby in 2 weeks and I'm trying to find another name for him. His name is Lucca now and although I haven't completely ruled it out, I'm not really that keen on it. Any suggestions? Here's his picture:

How old is he? I would think twice about changing his name if he is used to it.

He's 9 months old. My other Yorkie was a 3 yr. old rescue and no one even knew his name and within days he was answering to Scooter.

Give it some time and you'll find a name. He was nameless for 2 days and finally came up withe a perfect name.

I don't think you have to worry about changing it, you could always start using Lucca with the new name. Most of my dogs were older, and I didn't know any of their "orignal" names, they learned fast.

I'm thinking because he's darker, and at this age, it probably means he will keep the darker coloring, maybe a name that takes that into consideration.

Yes, the vet says Darcy is between 10-13, we have had her going on 4 months now, no one knew her name, but within a matter of days, she figured out her new name is Darcy!
