| first vet visit We went to the vet today and my baby got weighed and he is at 3.2 pounds and he's only nine weeks old.........is this abnormal for a yorkie? I'm still new to all this so I don't know what is a good weight is for him at this age. He is a little chunky but not too much. What do ya'll think? |

| He might be about 8-9 lbs full grown, a little large for a yorkie but I have a 14 pounder so don't worry about it!! They are just more to love!!

| I would think that he would be a larger yorkie but as someone else has already said there is just more to love. The only reference I have though personally is the puppies that I looked at when I was choosing mine. My Mylie is also 9 weeks old and is only 1.5lbs and her mother is 6.5lbs and her dad was 4.5 lbs. I guess you just never know untill they are full grown. I would love to see a picture. |
