I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I buy the online at e-bay, I like the Merrick Bully Sticks the best. Not to bad when you buy them in quantity.

| That is really pricey... You should check out the Sale section here. Some YT sellers have them for so much less. And they're good ones too (Not stinky)

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I wouldn't be surprised if the price increase is due to a change in suppliers. China is importing plenty of pet products at great prices, but their quality control isn't always there. Not all Bully Sticks are processed the same way, and it's important to know in which country they are made. I know right now Target has lots of Dog treats made in China, and I refuse to buy them.

| They aren't running out of bulls, but they are running out of raw material. Bully Sticks are becoming more popular here so there has been a surge in demand. Also, people in other parts of the world eat the raw material. It's considered an aphrodisiac. Ew. So they are importing it from the US as well. Sometimes when I go to order sticks they are just OUT with no ETA from the suppliers... oh the things we do for our dogs! Also, all "Bully Sticks" are not created equal. Bully Sticks are denser and thicker than steer sticks and last a lot longer. You can't just compare length but width and material too. In my sale thread I posted some pictures so you can see the comparisons. I think I have 10 different kinds of Bully Sticks. I know you guys like the Bully Stick Jr. (that's the 5" and 7" steer sticks) but the bigger sticks really last a lot longer. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/fea...tick-sale.html
