| Cooper was named after the character on Walker Texas Ranger named Hayes Cooper. It is kind of Chuck Norris's alter ego as Walker in the olden days. My husband is handicapped and a fan of the show so I chose the name for him. We both like westers movies. I guess we are old fashioned. So many names are so cute on here I could of thought of many others.... hense the need for other yorkies...hehe

| Teddy was named because he looked like a teddy bear. Emily Rose (Emme) because I wanted something sweet and cute just like she is. |

| My baby's name is Pepper. I am not very good at coming up with names. My sis and I were discussing what to name him. His daddy's name is Angelbabies Golden Pepper, so my sis suggested naming him Pepper. So really Aunt Nina named him.

| My fur baby's name is Peanut. We chose this name for him in 2006 when I first wanted a Yorkie. Because we were living in Germany at the time I had to wait until we returned back to US for my . We chose the name Peanut because of his size and because he is so adorable. Last edited by SirPeanut; 08-14-2008 at 02:28 AM. |

| My 2 boys are Dexter and Fletcher. My mom & stepfather helped me name them. They are such little dorks and so goofy I wanted to give them dorky names! It worked because everytime I tell someone their names they laugh! I actually gave them middle names so they would be one of the guys, all my guy friends call each other 'pal', 'champ', 'chief', etc... they go on and on until they can't think of anything else then they talk, so I named my boys: Dexter Pal and Fletcher Champ!

| I named Abby, Abigail Grace because both of my daughter's names start with an A and since they're all grown up now, I wanted to follow tradition for my new little girl and I thought it was a beautiful name. Daisy came to us named already. My son named Peanut (RIP) after the Pauly Shore movie, Jury Duty. He said that Peanut looked like the little dog in the movie and he was so tiny, it fit him well. The next two aren't Yorkies, but they were or are a part of our family for many years. Chloe (RIP) came to us named. Chloe lived to be 16 yrs old. And Misty...long story. My husband was wanting a Yellow Lab, we had been looking for a while, when my FIL told us that a friend of his from out of town had a litter of Yellow Labs and he would give us one. As time moved on and conversations with my FIL, we were figuring out that she wasn't a Yellow Lab, but we weren't sure what she was! When she arrived, it turned out she was a Golden Retriever. So hubby named her Misty the Mystery Dog She's been with us 8 yrs now.

| Our oldest's name is Biff because my husband likes the movie Back to the Future and Biff is the name of the bully in that movie. I thought it was kind of cute to name such a small dog after such a tough character...usually we call him Biffy though thanks to our 2 year old niece We're getting a little girl yorkie in a few weeks and her name is going to be Riley. We were driving down the street spouting off the names of streets, developments and somehow Riley came out and it stuck. Again thanks to my hubby |
