| Any Advice on Dealing With this Sad Yorkie Ad? This advertisement was in our local Community Paper this afternoon. Yorkies 2 adult Female 3lbs 1 Pregnant $800 1 $600 859-235-**** Does this mean what I think it means? Is someone selling a 3 pound pregnant Yorkie? And are they selling this gal for more than the other Yorkie? Do you think this is true? If it is true, I am looking for advice on how to deal with this in a manner that would be most effective for the poor furbaby. I have not called them yet, because I wanted to collect my thoughts and say something that might change their minds. If you have any words of advice, I would very much appreciate it. One more question..Do you think this is legal?

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Advice? Buy them. I don't have any suggestions for you. I would imagine anything you say...is not going to be responded to in a positive manner. And yes it's legal. Sad.

| Yes, go ahead and call them, because if you don't, it's likely that someone without a clue is going to get them! |

| It's hard to not buy them and "rescue" them. But I have to remember the advice other YT members have given....by buying them you aren't really rescuing them. The sick person will then use that money and another Yorkie will end up in its place. The only way to stop these people is to not buy from them. I know its hard I really hope they end up okay |

| Has anyone called to ask why they are selling the 2 dogs, and if they have any others? That's always the 1st question I ask. |

| I wanted to give everyone an update on the advertisement for Yorkies, that was in our local community paper. When I called, I specifically said, "I'm calling about your advertisement in the paper." The lady said, "Which one?" Hmmmm.. I asked her about the Yorkies and she said they were not her Yorkies, but they belonged to a friend of hers. Hmmmmm... She told me the pregnant one was already sold. Then I politely tried to discuss with her the dangers of a three pound Yorkie having puppies. Before she hung up on me , she told me she had a 4 lb. Yorkie that had puppies with no problems. Scary! So, I think this ad could have been a scam, just like some of you thought. If not, I feel so very sorry for these females. Thanks for all your replies.
