Would they??? This is a question i posed to my fiance........ but here is a little background first: i just made toby some cute hoody four legged pajamas and my fiance thinks he is so cool wearing it because he looks like a "gangsta" ....... This is the question i asked him: "would you take him out in public wearing that???" Ok, so all you females out there,........ would youre significant other ever walk your furbaby wearing clothes (sweaters Pj's Costume Ect....) out in public??? I thought it was pretty funny that what was ok and cool to wear at home wasnt cool to wear outside....... So whats the answere....... would they walk em or not??

Ummm...an embarrassing admission...Bryan got Archie a camoflaged jacket, and Bryan has a similar green color jacket which he wears while walking Archie around. All my neighbors HAVE notice and told me so in no uncertain terms. But Bryan LOVES Archie and vice versa and Archie's like our child so he doesn't care what a couple of old ladies from Queens think about him!! Hey, this is New York, after all!!! There's a lot worse things out there.

I dress up my yorkies all the time, in clothes my female has a pair of jeans she wears, with her little pink hooded sweat shirt that says diva on the back, yes my husband would walk her in public with the clothes on, he thinks they are cute. my son came over and ask him why he lets me buy the dog clothes, he said you kids are grown up now, so these are our kids now..

Some of the more embarassing things (mainly for Halloween) like his old bunny rabbit costume, we wouldn't send him out in, but most clothes that Yoda has is fit for wear outside and we ain't embarassed at all about it!

I think my boyfriend would walk Hercules in clothes that are semi-normal. And as long as they are boy-ish clothes. He isn't a fan of putting one of those top knots in Herc's hair though, since he's a boy. And while we were home-bound from the snow, I put a barrette in his hair and my boyfriend isn't really a fan of that either. But as long as it's boy stuff, i don't think he minds.

Hi....No my husband would not walk Schatzie in public wearing her little outfits. Maybe if i was with him as then he'd blame it on me, hahaha...He loves Schatzie more than anything in the world and thinks she is adorable all dressed up but I think he draws the line for "public walking". He always tells me I treat Schatzie like she's our own baby. I say "well she is our baby!!".. hahahahahahaaaaaa!!!

I forwarned my fiance that I would be dressing my yorkie. Since we are probably not going to have real babies for another 4-5 years, I treat Luca Dean like a child! He gets all kinds of stuff from Baby Gap and then I alter the clothes a bit to fit him. Colin goes to the vet with him dressed up, but one cold night I put a red velour bodysuit (sans hood) on Luca Dean for his walk and Colin would not go with us. And both Luca Dean and Colin hate the topknot, so I've given up on that. The clothes stay though! (I don't let Luca Dean out in his bathrobe though!!!)

I can't say much about dressing up in clothes since I only put coats on Bentley, but my husband is okay with carrying Bentley in his bag - even though it looks like a purse (and has a little yorkie head sticking out of it)!

My boyfriend will walk him with clothes on even with the lily boots on him but he would not walk him if he has any silly bows on his head. He says bows are for female dogs. He won't even carry Rambo in his bag because it does look like a purse. I Would give anything to see my boyfriend carry Rambo in the little bag/purse. I would so take pictures of that..lol Bentley's mom - That's awsome about your husband carrying your yorkie in the bag.

Bows are strictly forbidden. Since Archie is a boy, it's easier to get Bryan to walk him with clothes on. Archie's wardrobe consists of a sweater, the camoflage jacket, a black jacket, a red sweatshirt and a t-shirt that says "Proud to be an American," which he wore on election day (ironically, neither me nor my boyfriend are from this country).

Just asked my husband and he said he would walk her with clothes on. But drew the line on the "purse"! I don't have on anyway, but have always wanted one. Will have to make one. She has a pretty pink dress with a big bow on the back and a Xmas dress with a big red bow on the back, a coat with a hood i also made her and a sweater I just knitted. The one I had bought was way too big! Orinskie!!!! Do you have a pattern or how did you make it so the legs were right? I've wanted to make one, but not sure how to go about it! Any suggestions would be well appreciated! Pat

yes i used the pattern in simplicity........ the cover looks like this, i think it is number 8929 or something like that........( im a little dislexic so the numbers might be backwards or mixed up)........ but it was really easy, cant wait for him to grow into it all the way (the smaller size will fit a dog about 3 lbs, and the larger one will fit a dog about 6 or 7 lbs.....)
