| New Addition to the family Well..I've actually had her for about 1 week but wanted to take her to the vet and make sure everything was okay with my other girls first. Meet.....Lexi. She's actually a rehome from someone who posted in the for sale/wanted section. She is an absolute sweetie and the girls invited her into the family with open arms. Although, she is the total opposite in size compared to them & I'm still getting used to dealing with such a tiny baby but she has settled herself right in with no problem. At the vet's, she weighed in at a whopping 2lbs, 14oz. Did I say she was tiny??? I thought she was at least 3lbs but oh well. I asked the vet if she could stand to gain a little weight.. She needs a good teeth cleaning and a couple of teeth extracted. The vet said she'd like to see her gain a little before we put her under for any of that or a spay so being with me, I don't think that'll be a problem. She wants to start with 1 pound at a time..not that her frame can handle but another 1 or 1 1/2 more. Other than that, she is extremely hardy & healthy in a little package. She was already tested for liver shunt & LP and got an all clear so that's good news. The only problem now is that she was never really potty trained and I'm used to starting out with a puppy. She's already 1 1/2 years old so that part will be a challenge for me to break her out of the habit she has settled into already. I have started taking her outside with the girls & she'll pp and poo on the sidewalk..lol. I posted something about the training of an adult/rehome and got some advice so I'll be following that and hoping for the best. They had also been putting diapers on her at night so she can sleep with them but I'd really rather train her as the other girls are and not have to do that so we're working on at as well. So I may be asking you others with tinies for much advice and suggestions as time goes on (my girls are 7, 7.5 & 8lbs!)...But I'm happy to be the mommy of this new tiny little angel!!!

| Oh!!!! She is such a cutie pie. When you said she went on the sidewalk, that reminded me that when Kacee was a puppy that she'd go poo on the patio.

| Yes. I got her....didn't plan on it...I knew I shouldn't have kept going back to that thread...especially with her being in my area.. Here's the original thread.http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...le-4-sale.html She was sleeping a lot at first but is doing great now...getting more & more active by the day. I look forward to sharing her progress. Thanks for all the well wishes!

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | OMG! Yolanda!!!!!!!!!!! She is soooooooooooooo beautiful! That first picture (of her sweet face) is to die for and the second one is great too! She looks even better in those pics than she did in the for sale thread, and she was a cutie there. You are a lucky lady to have found her and she is one lucky little yorkie to have you for her new mom. I have no doubt that she will adjust and learn quite easily with you, Diva, Foxxy, and Duchess to learn from. CONGRATULATIONS!
