| I groomed Chewy myself! Yeah, I did. Well, i just gave him a hair cut. He was getting scruffy and I'm really nervous to take him to the groomer so I just did it. I cut his skirt down, I trimmed his legs and pads, gave him a little hygeine cut, trimmed his eye area and, poof, done. It was easy. Once you start handling them like you're the boss they give you no trouble. I was not able to do his nails or inside the ears, that's for the vet. But all in all he looks good. Not really any different, just cleaned up. Oh and also I didn't cut any hair on his face cuz I'm a copycat and am going for the look that Brittie's Mia has |

| You know i took some pics but you can't really tell. I'm going to give him a bath later, blow him out and then take a new pic. So look out for it around 8PM! It was fun and a lot easier than I imagined. I looked for hair in his ears and i couldn't really see any. Is he too young to have any? (5 months) His legs are kind of skinny now! |

| Sophie would never sit still long enough for me to groom her, but I think Daisy will! I just need to summon the courage. Just out of curiousity, I plucked some hair out of Sophie's ears. She didn't make a peep - it's like I hadn't done a thing!! Guess it really doesn't hurt. |

Hi guys, I thought this thread was dead!!! I'm going to give him a bath and post pics tonight. Bdolphin: I only used scissors. It's quite easy to do, and by no means am I doing a progessional quality job. I cut the skirt first so it just covers over his belly. I then cut his legs down and clipped his pads. Just take the scissors and make one clean cut on the legs! Hygiene cut - Be careful, but just trim around his bum and little winkle and then cut down the belly area Last was the face and chest area. Cut across the chest and for the face I barely trimmed the sides, straight up. Whole thing took 10 minutes tops. I like it because he looks neater, but doesn't have that weird "just been groomed" look. Good luck if you decide to do it yourself. | |
