| Any advice for selling dog clothes? I am thinking about making my own clothes and selling them. Does anyone have any advice to help me get started. I need to know where to get patterns and how to resize them. I also need information on how to use credit cards for payment. Any and all advice is welcomed. I will post questions here as I think of them and if anyone else has questions feel free to ask.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | There is a lot of competition in dog clothing stores anymore, so you need to be prepared for that. There are dog clothing patterns you can buy at fabric stores like JoAnn's or even Wal-Mart. I've made most of my patterns, after getting the basic dress design the way I wanted. Just to get started you could try to make a few things to sell here on YT (you'll need to be a donating member first). See how successful you are with sales and go from there. Most members here that sell do accept paypal and don't have to be set up with cc services or a shopping cart service to accept payments. Good luck with your new idea!

I Love Thor Donating Member | Paypal is a safe bet for cc payments. You can buy domain names for websites at godaddy.com or there are others too. You could set up a website and put pictures etc. Jencar had a great idea, start by selling, here, your friends, family, locally, start small...Good luck. |

| Thanks for the advice. I was planning on selling at the local farmer's market and starving artist day at the park in Chattanooga. What do you suggest to get started, like what supplies and how much "stock" should I have on hand before starting to sell?

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | I have made my own patterns. And I custom make, so I don't have a size chart. I use paypal most of the time. We have so many now making and selling on YT that it's hard to compete anymore. I'm not doing it to make money, I do it cause I enjoy it and I love to see people happy when there package arrives. |
