| Puppy classes! I'm so excited about the puppy classes I've started Layla in. She's definitely the oldest in her class, at over 2 years, but the trainer told me she should probably start in puppy classes since she's small enough and she's never been in classes before. So last night was the first class but it was just the puppy owners. A lot of the information didn't really pertain to me but that was okay! Next week we bring in the dogs! Oh and there were 3 people who came in late to the class. Two were together, and the third just happened to be the girl who used to be the receptionist where I work! She sat down, looking very dressed up, with 4-inch see-through heels and a low-cut shirt, and GIANT hair. The trainer asked her to introduce herself and talk about her dog and she said "I have a little TEACUP chihuahua" with a big smile on her face like she was better than everyone else. I accidently rolled my eyes! Anyways, I'm getting really excited for next week. I brought home a clicker last night to get her used to it, and I've been using it a lot just giving her a treat after every click. I'm a little worried that since she's already learned how to sit and lay down and little things like that, it might be confusing to learn them all over again a different way. I don't know if she'll catch on as quickly as the puppies!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | How exciting for you, I found the clicker hard to use. You have to click as soon as they do the desired behavior and then give the treat, for some reason I found this too difficult, and the trainer said I could replace the word "YESSS" with the click. This was much easier for me, no fumbling for the clicker. We took the tricks training class and I loved it. Too bad you can't take a video of "Miss Legally Blonde" and her teacup, what a riot. I'm an eye roller too.

| Hahaha, I would've rolled my eyes too - not by accident I've used the clicker w/ both Bobby & Bentley.. Bobby seemed to respond to it better though Bentley is getting more and more used to it. It helped a lot during his potty training!

| Layla has started having potty training issues lately so that might be something to look forward to! Our upstairs is all laminate, but downstairs is all carpet. She has a pee pad on both floors but I think she assumes the whole basement is a pee pad
