| Ellie Mae is a year and a half and I have never had her cut. The hair on her back is about and inch from the ground now. So probably about two years to achieve the to the floor coat. |

| I would assume it also depend on the breeding. Some yorkies hair grow so fast while other takes forever to grow. |

| Hair Matise will be 1 year old on Aug. 16 and his hair is almost to the ground. I think it depends on the breeding and the dog.

| Gracie's hair is very shiny but cottony to the touch. She is still completely black and tan with only a very small bit of silver on the top of her head. Maybe she is just a late bloomer???
