| Summer Night shivering I recently had sami shaved real short, he looks like a chijuahua and the weather here has been pretty hot, so I thought short short shave for tilly & sami, but I noticed with the air conditioner on during the day sami shivers. and at night when were ready for bed I only leave the overhead ceiling fan on all night and poor baby shivers to the point he's shaking really bad that it is worring me, I put on his little sweatshirt on but he still shakes, so now I have to keep the fan off and Im thinking BIG mistake shaving him!! Has anyone have this problem? any Ideas it's too hot not to have the fan on, but im so afraid that he might freeze in his sleep?? I know this sounds a bit odd to think this way, and my husband is P>Off because it is hot at night! so I am wondering maybe it's low blood pressure? he hasn't been eating to good and I took advice from the other posts in regards to nutracal and making him rice and hamburger, and he will eat it, but I didn't want him to get use to the idea of having his meals prepared and discourage him from dry, I even mixed dry food in with the rice and hamburger and managed to leave the dry food in the bowl. So I am totaly confused on what is making him shiver? do you sleep with a fan at night and does your baby shiver? do you think it will be ok to leave the fan on and am I making to much of his shaking? |

| Hi, My little "Bruiser" has done that before. He is a short haired Chihuahua, very cold natured, and will even stay under his blanket in the summer. However, there have been a few times when he was "shaking" pretty bad. It was his stomach bothering him? I always give him a snack at night, this really seems to keep his "blood sugar" level and does help with the shaking. (he hates ceiling fans) bruisersmom |

When she gets a bit bigger and I'm more sure of sizing....I'm wanting to order some off Brookes site.. Imapreciouspup...they are cute..and she says soft... Anyway...Sophie sleeps pretty cozy...I'd give the jammies a try...

| Thanks everyone!! I think I might ust try Pj's but for a little boy how will this work?? going pee & poo with jammie bottoms? Lexi Ray you may be right If your Lexi is shaved maybe it is all about sami adjusting to being shaved, so I guess I can stop worring about him freezing to death my husband will probably want to send everyone flowers to thank you For getting the air conditioner and fan going again |

| Codie sleeps under the bankets w/ me but Katie sleeps on top of my pillow. I leave the air conditioner on high during the night and they're comfortable and fine with it.
