| Eating Twigs?!? My little guy Brady is addicted to crunching and eating small sticks and twigs. Whenever I am outside with him I am constantly taking them away and throwing them over the fence. Due to some high winds we have a TON of them in our backyard right now. Some are so small I just cant get them with the rake. Is it ok for him to swallow some if I don't catch him in time?!? Admin, sorry if this is in the wrong place, he is not sick or injured. Thanks ahead of time for your help.

| Its driving me nuts! I start watering my plants and I hear this CHOMP CHOMP behind me and when I turn and tell him drop it he takes off! So I chase him all the while he's chowing down on a stick and if I cant catch him in time he swallows it and walks up to me like, aren't you proud of me mommy! I ate that bad stick, see all gone! Brat!

| My Phyllis loves to eat those helicopter things that fall from the trees. When they dry out it sounds like she is crunching chips. haha When I try to get them from her she runs and chews faster.

| My Gracie chews on every little twig and stick. She even tries to smuggle them back in the house! She is such a goofy little girl, and luckily I can tell when she is chewing on something that isn't one of her toys. So I have to go and search for what she brought in this time......

| I am so happy I am not alone! My pup Bindi does the same thing. It's quite annoying taking her for a walk because she always stops to pick up twigs and tries to eat them and then of course get the hell away from me when she sees me coming. I try to keep her bark intake to the bare minimum though. I surely hope she outgrows this. |

| Haha! (Nice name BTW ) I think Gracie thinks she is a hamster sometimes! We live on the second floor of our apt complex, and when we are walking back to our apt and up the stairs, at the very top I have to usually check her mouth because she'll have pine needles, sticks, grass, etc etc in her mouth!

YT 2000 Club Member | I haven't had a problem with Maggy May doing this so far (the few times she's been out since the weather started to warm up.) Funny though cause she finds EVERYTHING in the house she can get off the floor so I was sure once her lil paw paws hit the outside world she'd be eating everything in sight, lol. You could always call and ask your vet what he thinks if this & if it will hurt your lil one or not.
