| He Did It Again!!!!! WHAT is the matter with this puppy??? We got Avery at three months and he's now seven months old. He was the ideal puppy till about a month ago and I don't know what's gotten into him! He's tearing up everything in sight. I was at the computer, turned around, and he had emptied a planter and was chomping away on the plant! (Dirt everywhere!) I also have a silk tree that has fake moss in the base and he strings that all over the house. I have gotten new toys for him so that he's not bored, but nothing stops him. Today I was so angry that I plunked him into his carrier and left him for awhile. Does anyone know of a way I can deter him? |

| Don't worry this happens sometimes. Have you tried the bitter apple spray? Daisy was going after our plants and that spray stopped her quick! Don't buy the knock off bitter sprays, just the honest Bitter Apple. Good Luck!

| I donno, sometimes it seems like they go thru phases. Lacijo just loves my husband to death but for a while, not too long ago she peed on him every chance she got. I think it's funny but he didn't. |

| I agreed they go thru phases. You can try the bitter apple spray or even rubbing the stuff he chews he is not supposed to with a clear deodorant stick. Keep telling him no and give him one of his chew toys. Good luck. |

| Does he have something to chew on at all times? Be sure to have lots of rewhide sticks in the house and offer him one instead of your furniture

| Yes, these little buddles of joy certainly do test ones patience levels from time to time. Teddy is the exact age as your little guy is and he too is going through like a terrible 2 stage or something and testing me every step of the way. His favorite means of destruction is to take any soft toy and rip it to shreds. I too turn around and look and my whole floor is nothing but toy stuffing everywhere. I also now have chew marks on my futon, my baseboards and my entertainment center. There are some days I can't figure out for the life of me why I love this little ball of destruction but I pray with time he will go back to being the good little boy he once was.
