| Kong advice for puppy i want to get lily may a different kong. i saw puppy kongs on petedge and i also saw senior kongs there. she is only 3# which one would be better? i got her a red one, but the treats for it say not to give to puppy under 6 mo. she is 4 mo. it is too big for her puppy dog bone treats. i got her a bone shaped kong, but she can't get the treats out, i don't think she can bite hard enough to get them out. that is why i thought the senior kong might be softer and easier for her to use. i know that you guys will be able to help me. thanks, gloria |

Donating YT Addict | My baby loves his puppy Kong. I fill it with his kibble and he picks it up and drops it so the kibble falls out. The opening is pretty small for treats but you can break them up. Kibble fits in just fine. He is 3lbs and it is a nice size for him.

| Don't forget the peanutbutter!!! Pepper loves her kong with kibble and a little peanut butter in it. in fact she has a hard time keeping it away from the brothers!

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | The puppy kongs come in blue & pink. We use the puppy kong stuffers (both the small puppy kong cookies, and the spray kong stuff). You have to read the box/can because they come in all sizes for different size dogs. Usually, the "ziggy" or whatever comes with the kong I throw away because it says it's for dogs over 6 lbs and over 3 months old. The red kong is the standard one for adults, and the senior kong is the purple one. All the treats are usually color-coded this way too. I also throw some yorkie yummies in there sometimes - they love 'em!

| Lucy has the pink Kong and loves it. I can put anything in there and she goes to town on it. Peanut butter, yorgurt, brown rice, you name it. She thinks anything out of her Kong is a treat

| My babies love there Kong. They have different types of puppy ones. I have the teething one with the grooves that is kinda shaped like a square and I have the one that is shaped like the ice cream on a cone. They both love them. It also keeps them very well entertained. |

| Tricksie is 1 1/2 and she loved the Kong toys when she was little. She is 8 lbs and an aggresive chewer, she got the Kong Wubba today and loves it and has not destroyed any of it, YET? She took a nap and used it for a pillow.

| good luck with your issue, im assuming that a puppy kong would be best... Belle didnt really take to the kong, she looked at me like, really? you want me to get the treat out of that thing? i have to WORK?? (don't get me wrong she does tricks for treats usually, but i guess the "physical labor" was too much for Princess Bellie...i'll have to try with the peanut butter)
