| I have a Pommie, Snowboy, 9 mo., and a Yorkie, Chipper, 1.25 yr. They love each other, although, I do have to watch that the Pommie doesn't overpower Chipper. There is a 2 lb. difference. I don't think Snowboy intentionally gets pushy, but he is just 9 mo. and has a lot of growing up to do. I trust that as he gets older he will be more discerning. It is great entertainment to watch them play.

| i believe yorks are "pack animals" and enjoy being around other dogs. i have 1 york b/c of the high cost of healthcare for them. i make sure my york gets to socialize with his yorkie friends at least 2x @ week. he really adores other yorkies. this has been my observation.

| It's fine to just have one. Just give your baby all of the love and attention he needs and he'll be fine

YT Addict | i was thinking about it, and i would like to have another yorkie for him to play with...but i honestly dont have enough money to buy one. and even though my fiance bought odie for me, he doesnt even like him for the most part =/ odie just gets overexcited and really hyper when jeremy comes over and i thinks its because he knows jeremy is his daddy but since we dont live together, odie just gets soo happy and jumps all over jeremy and starts barking up a storm! but oh well, because i can tell that odie would be jealous...he's very skeptical of ppl getting around me and my lap is his domain! haha |

| This, of course, is JMO. If you don't have enough money to buy another Yorkie then that would most likely mean that you would find it difficult to vet two Yorkies. I don't blame you for wanting another Yorkie. I read threads abut new puppies this or that one has brought home and I want so much to get another one. But.....four is more than enough for me to handle. I love my four, well one is a Pommie, so much. They are my focus now.

| 2 are perfect Loki, the dog who has never really liked other dogs, loves his little sis! She beats up on him and is a bratty little sister but he still sleeps near her, wrestles with her even when he'd rather be napping and shares his toys, water bowl and bully sticks. He even shares ME which is amazing because he does not like when I pet random dogs. (It's a fear thing, not an aggression/territory thing.) Sammy and Loki didn't look at each other for about a week when she came here and then one day they were best buds. It's the best thing we could have ever done for him (and my husband who LOVES his little girl!) I don't know if I could do 3 baths, 3 times the poop... but mostly just juggling 3. I can still pick up 2 when the doorbell rings and I can handle bathing 2 of them. We have 2 car seats. 3 would be too much...

Donating YT 10K Club Member | This describes our situation...the second yorkie was gotten for ME, but Ramsey does love her "baby brother". Reese is her shadow....what we doin' now, sissy? What we doin' now?
