| Welcome to YorkieTalk! Her name is Buttons? How cute!! I would suspect allergies. Yorkies frequently have food allergies. What food is she on? What have you tried in that area? Poor baby! That has to be miserable.

| It's probably the food. Search thru the health topics and read about what others have experienced. There's some great links to other sites that will give you a lot of helpful information about allergies (food related) and some better choices to feed your baby. Welcome!

| oh for sure! you can usually get them at small independently owned pet stores... they are sometimes called pet boutiques or pet health food stores... you can get them online too... if you can't find let me know.. i can send you a sample of Fromms... what i feed layla from time to time (i homecook.. which would probably be best for your baby.. but if you dont' have the time these kibbles will work.. if youw ant info on home cooking let me know ) you can also try Orijen. GREAT GREAT food... |

| My 9 yr old has been itchy and biting at her feet, scratching her ears, etc since she has been little. I give her 25 mg Benedryl once a day in the mornings, and if it's really bad, I give her one at nite. It seems to help and is better than steroids. She has allergies, I never got her tested. The vet said to wash her feet every time she comes in from outside.....yeah, that's real doable....NOT! Anyway.....there are lots of things they could be allergic to, just like humans.
