| Sammy is biting :( He used to play and I always tell him "NO" or no biting, and he'd stop. It wold be like playful nipping, but I never allowed it anyway. So today, my 4 year old is sitting next to his little pillow and I'm watching her. she wasn't doing anything but just sitting there, not even looking at him, and he jumps up and bit her in her face. It left a mark, no blookd or anythng, but hard enough to leaave a red bruise, and her face was all scratched up on her cheek. I was so upset. I felt like crying. I know after all they are dogs, but he's never done this before. COuld someone give me some tips on how to make sure this doesn't happen again. Did he think she was going to take the pillow? |

| My 23 yr old son has this happen.... Chewy will sometimes bite my son Mike. We don't knw why but if Mike tries to correct him he sometimes will... Mike started putting Chewy in the bathroom for about 4 minutes with the door closed as punishment. The first time he did this he had to keep putting chewy back...4 times! But the 4th time he came out he was very nice to Mike. Mike also gives him treats to win him over... this seems to really be helping alot. When we got Chewy Mike was heading off to college and was never here. Then he came home and Chewy was trying to be Mike's boss I think? Mike never hurts chewy or mistreats him so this is all we can guess... Chewy also Likes Mike and will play with him and sit on his lap.

| I didn't think about that. We did have company over since Wednesday and they left yesterday. there were 3 kids- age 10, 4 and 11 months. and their parents and I had to put him in a different room becasue they were using mine. Maybe that made him a little crazy. I know it made me crazy. |

| My little guy Bear will do that to my oldest daughter who is 10. What started it was she gets on her knees and flips her long hair over to get him excited but her going down to his level made him feel dominance and he began to nip at her and is still doing it. I'm going to get her to try the locking in the bathroom when he does it so he gets that he is the bottom of the pack. Hopefully he gets it too. Let me know if it works for you. Thanks for the good advice.
