| Tipping Ears.... cute or not? OMG! I LOVE the look! When my groomer FIRST asked me if I wanted it done on one of my boys I had to ask what it was because I never heard of it. She told me and I was leary thinking it would look weird, but she told me it was a standard yorkie cut, so I said sure. I have one boy with up ears and one with semi up but the tops flap over, she only tips the boy with up ears and I think its just the CUTEST look!! I love it! Does anyone else really love the look of their ears being tipped or do you prefer to have that butterfly look? (my little guy who is not tipped when his ears perk he looks like a butterfly unfolding its wings! haha)

| I love the look. I shave 1/3 down on Buddy ears and cut close to the ear itself with sissors to keep the pointed look. With those who have pointed erect ears it makes them stand out, I think. |

| I prefer them tipped also at least for ears that are up. I think the butterfly look is really cute on some yorkies but I prefer the shaved look on mine. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I have always had Nolee's ears tipped. From the day we brought him home, so not sure what it would look like with it.

| Mine start getting their ears "tipped" when they are 2 weeks old. It really helps get the extra weight off so they stand better.

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | I tip my females ears but not my males. I prefer the butterfly look on my male, although I don't let the hair on his ears get TOO "bushy/long" - but I definitely don't tip them.
