Another question on.. playpens/xpens.. I have 3 Little Puperoo's that I need either a Playpen or an X-Pen.. Or like a doggie gate.. the picture i have here is of a doggie gate i have that i use when we are at my boyfriends house and the kiddies have to stay inside the room while we do errands (eat breakfast, bathroom break etc).. I can only let them out when Deva (our Cat) isn't hiding and waiting for the dogs to come out like prey lol.. My only concern is.. that Oreo can Climb this gate!! it's pretty tall.. well i'm 5'0 and have trouble getting over it.. too bad it doesn't have a swinging gate on it lol.. but should i get an x-pen? one with mesh sides so he can't climb? In the picture, the smaller black one.. that used to be the only barrier we used for them until both Oreo & Ginger hopped over it with ease.. but Oreo's is so funny he will climb the white doggie gate.. Someone had posted this link in a thread before.. but was wondering if it is a good idea.. since Oreo likes to climb.. I'm thinking I need one that is fairly high.. (he likes to jump as well).. http://www.firstrax.net/petnation/portapen.html And the good thing is, i can bring it to either my house or my boyfriends house.. so any ideas/advice would be great for those of you who have anything like this..

We tried this gate and it didn't work for us! Rocky took one look at it and climbed it like an olympian! Of course, on his way over the other side, he fell right on his noggin! He must have thought it was fun because he jumped right up and climbed back over to the other side! I am now on the outlook for something he can't conquer! Maybe the Port A Pen would do the job....if I can make him stop whining to get out! Good luck!

I have a little climber myself. I bought a gate from ebay that has only bars going vertical. Seems to be working so far.

Sounds like something useful for me to do. I'll go look and see if I can find what I have on ebay.

Well if you type in baby gate or dog gate, quite a few gates come up with vertical bars in many different price ranges. I have a high one, but I can still step over it and it has vertical slats. I have it to keep all the dogs in the kitchen when I need them to be. Chloe is the only one that could climb the other gates I had. She hasn't gotton over this one....yet! I just reread your post. Are you looking for a an enclosed pen or just a gate?

If you are looking for a pen, this might work. It only has the cross slats at the top and bottom. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...984744798&rd=1
