| Faster than a speeding bullet Being new to the wonderful world of Yorkies, I wasn't prepared for how incredibly fast my Scooter is. I mean this is one fast dog. In fact everything he does is at warp speed. Tonight I was tossing a toy to him in the yard and he takes off so fast that when he stops to pick up the toy he's going way too fast and tumbles head over heels several times. He even eats at top speed, I swear if the room was dark I would see sparks he's eating so fast. Are all Yorkies speed demons or did I get an extra speedy one? |

| Lacy is really fast too! She will get the zoomies and run like crazy all over the house. She's not ever allowed outside without being on a leash because I'd never catch her!

| Oh, they are very fast. Katie has taken many head-over- heel falls. She scares me to death sometimes. Welcome to the world of yorkies.

| I hear ya! They ARE fast! Everyone is amazed when they see Tatum run. Our house is about 200 yards away from the kids' treehouse and if they go down there without her and you let her out of the house, MAN will she fly down there. You can barely even see her feet touch the ground..... hair flying behind her looks like a cape!

| Yes, they are really fast.. Otis runs back and forth throgh the house flying! He is quick with turns also, he scares me because in the kitchen he slides on the floor and has actually ran into the cabinets and the stove a couple of times. Every night at the same time, which is right before we go to bed, he knows it is bed time and he has a huge running spell for about 10 minutes and then he is ready for bed.. I can image how fast he could run outside but I don't take him out without a leash... But, yes they are very fast...

| Faster than a speeding bullet??? Our Yorkies!!!! Yes the zoomies go on at our house too when you least expect it. I do take Nathan outside without a leash since we live on a private road and there is nothing around us and its too far for him to get to the main road!!! He is usually good when i call him if i feel he is going to far..although i do have to call him more than once and use a little stern voice to get him to move!!

YT 2000 Club Member | As a new first time Yorkie mommy myself, I did not know that these little ones were as fast as they are! Jeter will have warp speed tag games around the living room and his hind legs will fly up in the air and he will topple over. We laugh so much at him when he gets these burst of energy.

Lovin' 2 Girls Donating Member | ....better known as "the Zoomies". It seems most Yorkies are plagued with them, and we are blessed to share them .
