| Self Made Expens I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to make an expen. Currently Lexus has one of those store bought metal ones (Octagon shape), but with our new puppy comming I want to make one big one - like a puppy run in our basement for them to play during the day (without having to buy two or three more metal expens to connect together). Any ideas? |

| Here's one made out of PVC pipe, but you would probably need to line it with some kind of mesh so they don't go between the bars. http://www.bark.addr.com/pat/expen/expen.html

| I would think it does not need to be a whole lot larger while the puppy is still small. You might try substituting a wall for one side of the ex-pen and their crates for another. Then use the ex-pen to make up the difference.
