| Yorkie Rescue in DFW? Adoptions of Yorkies? I don't mean to offend any owners here, but at the moment I just don't want to pay over 500 dollars for a dog. I love animals though. It's just a struggle I have. Are there any adoption places for Yorkies? I've volunteered animal shelters and other animal rescue agencies. But I've yet to learn about a Yorkie place. I'd like to adopt one if I could find one. Thanks for any info, Adam |

YT 500 Club Member | Try Yorkshire Terrier National Rescue. There are others, Yorkshire Terrier Rescue Network works through Pet Finders. Many of the members here have another group that they recommend. Good Luck, and you will not offend me. I have trouble spending that much on a dog when there are so many dogs out there that need homes. I would not have spent $500 on a dog. I spent less, and only on a purebred because my husband wanted a dog with papers, and I wanted a Yorkie! I wish you well.

| A lot of times rescues will charge hundreds of dollars for an adoption fee too. But adoption is a great thing to look into! I hope you can find a yorkie through one

| yorkie rescue go to yorkierescue.com...we're a national group and have volunteers in Texas....we do not give out the AKC paperwork with our dogs and they are spayed/neutered and have vaccines before they are placed...all yorkies are fostered with volunteers before being placed. there are more yorkies available than what is pictured on the website..fill out an application and someone in Texas will contact you... you can also volunteer...we always need the help! roxanne in NC

| For sale vs. for adoption In my opinion, over $100 is for sale, not for adoption. I adopted my Yorkie for $90.00 with complete vaccinations and micro-tagged. Owners - get a clue. Quote:
