| Roxy was very bad today!! She is still 6 months old going on 7 which I do understand the accidents but my cousin took her out for a walk (how funny he prob looked walking an under 4lb yorkie when he is over 6 foot tall and a big guy) she went number one twice. Then when she got in after a lil bit she did number one on the floor again. Then she went and did number 2 on the couch. What do I do????

| gino is 7 mos. does this too. No poop on the couch (yet) though! I think persistence is the thing with dogs. Just keep taking them out and eventually they will learn. It IS frusterating though!!!

| Yes, you have to be very persistence. Has soon as she starts to go..Say NO and take her to her potty area. It is very frustrating but hang in there.

| I had to laugh, you said a 4 lb yorkie and 6 foot guy, you should see my son, he's 6'5" and probably about 280 and his new little guy weighs barely over 2 lbs.. Now for the other problem, confinement..! crate her or put her in an xpen, then take her out every 2 hours or so..you can always tell her hurry and go potty, they learn what that means, then when she goes, praise her and give her a treat(have them with you for as soon as she goes), then let her have play time in the house, then crate her again..consistency is what it's all about..I'm really pleased as my 13 week old one is already using the pee pads really well...good luck.. |
