| Question about how to keep bed cleaned... Does anyone have any tips of how they keep THEIR bed clean? Cocoa and Daisy are constantly on mine and even though I wash the sheets and comforter once a week I feel like it smells like dog. I would appreciate any advice or tips. Thanks! |

| Wash the sheets Really, I'm not sure. I've been sleeping with two Persian cats and two yorkies every night and my bed doesn't stink. How often do you bathe the dogs? I bathe mine once a week and the cats get bathed about once a month or more. I usually wash my sheets once a week although I think it's been like two...I need to wash them and the dogs tonight. Maybe try Febreeze everyday to keep them fresh. I LOVE febreeze!

| I wash my yorkies once a week , ( actually every sunday ) and do the sheets usually the same day. I use a small amount of bleach ( not much at all ) in their bath water ... and use fresh up sprays and conditioner throughout the week. My husband , who really did not even want them in our bed ... never complains and would not want it any other way. There is linen spray you can get and clorox spray ... Just try a few different things and see what works . Febreeze is always great.

| I use a duvet for my comforter, it helps especially since my comforter is down and dry cleaning is $$$. |

| clorox and deoderizers are not necessary if the dog is clean. Yorkies need to be bathed once a week. I have one who gets a bath every fourth day. I change the linens once a week. My bed it high off the floor where they cannot get on it. I really don't want them in our bed until bed time. They have several beds of their own to crawl in during the day if they want. I have never had one thing smell "doggie". I wouldn't advise useing any amount of clorox in a dogs bath water. Not sure why you would do that, but it sure can dry the skin and coat out really bad. |

| Ok, thanks y'all for all of your advice. I bathe them once a week but, may have to start doing it more often. Once they go outside to me they get that doggie smell and then they run and play on my bed and Cocoa drools A LOT so, that adds to the problem, lol. I have the Febreeze room spray and candle so, I will try the linen spray as well. Thank you! |

| Bitsy is only allowed in bed with me when I go to bed. I wipe her paws, her pee pee area and bum with baby wipes before we go to bed every night. |

I'm a febreeze-a-holic as well. What a great invention, I hope that guy is stinkin' rich.
