| Toys for Puppies Does anyone know of any good toys for puppies? My Abby really has no interest in any of the toys I bought her. She is 11 weeks old and all she really wants to do is play with my hair or shoe laces. I have bought her ropes, tiny stuffed animals, tiny balls. Not much interest. I can tell she wants to play cause she is jumping and running around. Didn't know if anyone had any good suggestions. Thanks. |

| Chachis favorite toy is this ball thing that has feet. It bounces and he loves to retrieve it. We get them at Petsmart. We periodically have to buy him a new one cause he loses it.

| I noticed you said you were buying your puppy small toys. I bought Reggie big stuffed animals and toys that almost seemed too big for him and he loves them... but then Reggie likes most every toy I buy him (not like my fussy cats). Good luck....

| Georgie and Oliver love this squeaky fire hydrant toy I got them from PetCo. It comes in a pack of 4 with a shoe, football and bone and they all squeak. I think they like them because they can actually get their little mouthes around them to play fetch with and also make them squeak.

| if you crochet you can make the gruffle balls. mine love them and they are good to chew on. cleans the teeth too. mine fetch with them. if you do a search for free gruffle ball patterns there are a few of them out there and very easy to do. the fuller you make them the better.

| I give my puppies the card board from empty toilet paper rolls or paper towels. Also old holey socks, I tie knots at each end. Safe and free toys. The socks can be thrown in the washer.

| When Reuger was younger he really loved to chew on pop bottle caps. I also took an old t-shirt of my hubby's and tore into strips and tied knots all over it. He just loved playing with this. He really loved it when we played tug of war with him. Sometimes I'll tie one of his toys onto it. It's a real simple and inexpensive toy that you can make. Reuger is almost 10 months old and still plays with this.
