| Ice Cube Couple fo days ago I realized the power of water. Liquid form keeps as going and we have fun in it. Steam makes us feel better and softer. Ice cools us down and provides almost a third of an hour of pure fun if it is in a form of a small cube. I dropped a cube into Spookie's water to cool it a bit since the water bottle was next to a radiator. At the sound of something happening around her food she ran down to inspect what's up. Everything seemed fine but for a strange object floating in her water. Checking what it is with her nose and getting it cold she got a bit excited. Attacking it, grabbing with her teeth and pulling out unto the floor unleashed a little beast in our baby. First and foremost is that she cannot hold ice in her mouth for more than several seconds. That makes her angrily drop it on the floor. The ice of course skids away aggravating the little one even more. She is chasing it bumping it away with her nose, which makes her chase it even more. The more she chases, the more excited and persistent she gets. Attacking, barking and growling shows us a Mr. Hyde in our little sweety. After cornering it with no way out for the ice cube she finally has a grip on things. She proudly takes it into her mouth and tries to take it to her savouring spot where she can have her way with it. By biting on it the cube becomes an alternative to a bone that she loves so much, but not for long. Ice is melting making it smaller and more elusive and control over it is not possible. The second and third round of chasing it around the room, trying to catch it and biting on it. She finally cracks a very tired ice cube into several little pieces making it so unattractive and not challenging feeding her superiority over the world and especially a new object in her life. |

| That was so funny to read! Too bad you didn't have a video camera to get the action! Missy loves ice in her water. She's used to it now. The 1st time I put it in her bowl she didn't know what to do so she just started lapping up what little bit was melting! Now she keeps licking until it's all gone!
