Booties! My little yorkie Toby is completely mezmorized by the snow! I want to take him out in it but I need to get him some booties first! Does anybody know of any good brands that make booties? Where to get them? What to look for?

My little pup likes his Mutluks, but it took some training for him to wear them. We put one boot on and gave him a treat....repeated this a few days. Then added a 2nd....let him walk a bit..then all four. He did step a bit strange but eventually got use to it.

Awwe little booties. I love it! I live in Boston, we get a good amount of snow in the winter, so I'll have to look into getting a pair for next winter. Do you guys put shoes/booties on your babies when they go walking to protect their paws? I didn't know if I should or not or if it's really important? Lots of cobblestone sidewalks/pathways here in Boston might be rough on my girl's paws. I do have some good paw lotion, but also read online not to use the lotion or rub lotion in to them as that makes their paws softer and then it will be more likely their paws will be tender and can get irritated much more easier. And that not using booties/lotion benefit the future because they make the calluses on puppies feet thicker- which is a good thing...
