well i don't live in the UK but i LOVE big brother... it should be starting here in about a month or so... it's my mom favorite show!!

I love it, it started here on Wednesday. They put 11 females in and NO men! LOL... then Friday they added ONE male!!!! Only he's allowed to nominate this week, so they are all being extra nice to him!

WOW 11 women.. that should be good! i'm dying to see what they do this year because last summer was our "all star Big Brother" and it was SOOO good so i can't wait to see how they shake things up this year... i find it is so hard to really get into it in the begining because i'm like "it is not as good as last year!" but a few weeks in and i have my favorites!

I do the same thing every year too! I never think it's as good, I think you have to warm to the people a bit first...

There's been no bitching so far but the males only been there one night so there's time yet... don't even know if they are putting anymore in there! lol

Have you had an EVIL Big Brother there yet? We had Heaven and Hell too...

i've never heard of Evil or heaven and hell.... we had one where people went in as former ex's... but didn't know their ex was going to be in there till they showed up! we had one where a set of twins kept changing in and out of the game... no one even noticed! and we had one where people were working secretly in teams (they knew eachother from home) and they would win twice the amount of money if they could make it to the end with their friend from home.

LMAO, they all sound like GREAT ideas!

We have two twins at the minute, 18 y/o Paris wannabees, soooo annoying!

So far we had Evil where it was like boot camp, no pool, drills, basic rashens everyday unless they earned each meal.

Heaven and Hell where one side was poor and never got an luxousy items, just basics and no beds or anything and the other side had a jacusy (sp), pool, sofas, bed LOl

One year they asked for someone to go to the diary room and then secretly whisked him off to Australia!!! They actually swopped two over!

I'm not sure if BB was your countrys idea or ours, whose ever it was... it's a great one!!!! lol

wow.. very cool! i think BB came from the UK, like so many other great tv shows!!! every year there are competitions and the house gets divided into two teams (the teams are different each week) and the losing teams eats Peanut Butter and Jelly all week... some have gone all summer just eating PB and J.. do you ahve Head of Households??

No, we only had heads when it was a bootcamp.

Do the contestants become automatic celebs over there too? I find that so annoying! lol

Us have great shows! OMG, I love Scrubs, DHW, Dama & Greg, 2 1/2 Men, Two Guys and a girl... where did they all come from!!!!

wow Dharma and Greg hasn't been on over here in years... did it just start there???

no i woudln't say they become instant celebs here. Last year on the all start there were two guys who were huge favorite while they were on the show and stuff but now you dont' see them at all.. they go back to normal lives.

They seem to stick in the limelight for AGES here, some are still about after a couple of years!

No, Dharma and Greg has been on for a couple of years but we have a channel called ABC1 and they only show US sitcoms, they repeat them loads! I LOVE it! Will & Grace, 8 Simple Rules, Hope and Faith, Scrubs, etc, etc... it's the best channel! lol

I haven't really watched it since they put the guy in there...have been a bit busy the last few day....update me please!...whats going on...are the girls getting bitchy trying to get his attention?? hehe...

It usually takes me a couple of weeks from the start to get totally hooked and then when it ends in august im at a loss!!

They haven't really started bitching YET but Channell and Ziggy obviously like each other, Charley just wants to get her claws in him just so that she has him not someone else, I REALLY dislike her... the twins aren't too bothered, but I think they just like each other! lol

He seems like a nice down to earth bloke though... they get their first task today so that should be interesting. Not a great deal happened over the weekend. Channel4's BB pages are slow going for the weekend cuz not much happened, they just sunbathed. lol

I can't wait to see how it turns out this year, I find I've warmed to most of them already and it normally takes a couple of weeks...
