Sorry for not being active Hi l am sorry for not being active for a while even though l joined the group in September. l have separated from my partner and am trying to find some where to live, it is not easy when your in a wheelchair and have 2 yorkie girls. l have only 3 weeks left here where l am before the tenancy ends. l am on the council housing list but they say they have nothing for me and that l should declare myself homeless and go into a B&B without the girls, so l told them no way am l giving my dogs up for them or any one else. Have been phoning etc over 50 estate agents but no luck, either more than l can afford as l have to go on housing benefit now or no access for a wheelchair or no dogs allowed. l have now emailed the MP for the disabled to see what he can do as l am desperate now.My dear mum has offered to have me with her and my stepdad but they are old and in not good health and they live in a one bed bungalow, so l would have to sleep on the sofa and all that l do have put in boxes in her living room. l have even contacted so many disabled charities etc but none of them can help, l think it is just terrible the way we are treated. The girls Lily and Poppy know some thing is going on but are coping well with it plus they are helping to keep me sane at the moment lol Sorry if l have said things l shouldn't on the group here but l have been getting reminders as to why l have not been joining in and just wanted to say why, so sorry if l have spoken out of term. As soon as l do get some where l will join in again.

Oh, I am so very sorry to hear about your plight. How awful, especially as you are in a wheelchair. I am really upset that you have had no help from the social services or disabled charities! Surely, being disabled, you would be considered a priority for a council flat? Is there no way you can extend your stay where you are until you find something, or if not, and I know it is awful to say this, but what about just staying where you are until they draw up an eviction notice to have you removed. It will give you more time to find something. I don't think they can physically throw you out? It just seems so unfair. Let's hope your MP will help. Please let us know how things go. I just wish I could help you in some way. Sending love and hugs your way - I will be praying for you. Luv Yvonne xx

Thank you Yvonne for your answer. l have to be out of here by the 11 November and am going to stay with my mum until l can get some where to live. it will be a bit cramped there but it is only for as short time l hope lol. There is as new council housing list out tomorrow, so l am hoping that there will be some thing on there that is suitable for me. Have not had a reply from the MP and l doubt that l will now after l told him what l thought of him and the government putting the needs of the immigrants before people such as my self that were born in England and are disabled through no fault of there own and need help and it was about time the government changed its policies with regards to helping us. l am also thinking seriously about contacting our local newspaper if nothing happens from the MP.

Sorry for not being aactive Thank you Yvonne and Bettyeanne. the Mp actually got back to me last night but all he said was he wanted to know who the councillor was that is supposed to be helping me. l have not heard from the coucillor now for 3 weeks. l went to look at some bungalows that where on the hosduing list this week but they were in such a terrible state and the areas they were in were not good, worst place you could live in Ashford, where all the drug addicts etc live, so l shall not be putting a bid in on them. another one was too faraway from my mum and it did not have any shops near by that l could use. so that was no good either. l shall be going to stay with my mum for now until some thing becomes available.
