| Your thoughts on Performatrin Ultra Food I was just curious to know if anyone has heard of, or tried Pet Valu's new brand of Food. It's called Performatrin Ultra. I a trying to ween my baby off of Iams after reading about creutly/tesing on animals on another thread, as well as finding out it has by products in it too. The store gave me a sample bag of this holistic food, so I mixed some of it in with his Iams - and by golly - he prefers it over the Iams. Just wondering what other peoples thoughts or experiences have been with this brand of food. Please let me know what you think of it. |

| I have never heard of this brand of food....maybe it's only sold in Canada (?) It's odd b/c I thought I knew most brands of food sold at PetSmart b/c I thought long and hard before I chose what adult food to feed our yorkie (Nutro Natural Choice Small Bites) But I thought I'd comment b/c I don't want you to think that your ?'s are being ignored...it's probably that a lot of members are like me and don't know much about this food either. I could be wrong, though. I hope you get the advice you need.....sorry I couldn't be of any help, LOL!

| I never heard about this food either. If it has healthy ingredients and your pup loves it, go for it. Like Valerie said probably is only found on Canada. |

| Yes, I believe that it is sold only in Canada because Pet Valu is a Canadian store. I didn't get it at PetSmart. So if any Canadians know anything about it I would really appreciate knowing what you think. The first main ingredient is Chicken (or Lamb if you choose that flavour), then chicken meal, followed by eggs, whole grains and rice as well as blueberries, cranberries ans apples. Along with many more good foods. I am just going by memeory here. Seems good to me, but I am a new mom learning as I go! Thanks for the replies so far! Much appreciated. |

| I have not tried that new food. It seems like Pet Value is always giving something away I have gotten a free blanket, free ball, and free treats. They carry a special food for Yorkies. I was going to try it after the RC Puppy 33. I must say that puppy food has perked up our 16 year old cat, she had not looked so good in a long time.....lol

| Hi Deegan's Mom. I just got Performatrin Ultra yesterday and I live in New Jersey! He seems to like it, but I'm not sure yet b/c I still am mixing his old food w/ the new to avoid stomach problems. How is your baby doing on it? I thought I was the only one that knew about this stuff until I did the search!
