|  Yorkie Extravaganza at Walnut Creek, CA Hello  fellow YT in the Eastbay, Northbay, Southbay and the BayArea, and all from Northern California,Let's meet-up during this event sponsored by the Yorkshire Terrier Club of Northern California. There will be buffet lunch for $7.00,  and lots of fun events that is open to all yorkies like a "talent show , tricks  , best costume, cutest face , longest coat, biggest yorkie, smallest yorkie, most unusual bark, yip and howl, anything goes !" And the events are just $5.00 to join.It will be an opportune time for us to meet! And for sure it will be lots of fun! It will be held at an indoor air-conditioned dog show training pavillion with free parking. When: SUNDAY, July 8, 2007 Time: Doors open at noon to 5:00PM Where: The Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation 2890 Mitchell Drive, Walnut Creek, CA  Lita, newbiemom to My SweetPea

| Thanks for posting this! I think you pm'd me with it too and I apologize if I did not reply...I remember thinking "let me look at my calendar before I reply" and I still haven't!! Sorry....But it sounds great and I'd love to go! I'm gonna check the date and try to make it!

| " Hi "  I don't live in California, but I just wanted to "compliment" you for your very creative way of using a lot of the smiles in your thread.   It looks so cute. Sounds like a good time, hope you get a lot of YT'ers to go. Be sure to post pictures of the event.

That's awsome!!  I signed-up for everything... from the buffet $7.00 plus the B-Match $10.00, and the Talent/Fashion Show $5.00. For $22.00 our yorkies will have a blast  .. you can't beat that! There are several age groups for the match: 4-6 months, 6-9 months and 9-12 months for the Puppies group. Then there is 12-18 months group and the "open" group.I look forward to meeting you and your yorkie . What is your girls name?

| Yorkie Match Hi Ironside, (That can't be your name?) "Mimi" the Yorkie live in Walnut Creek. She will be entered in the 6-9 mo puppy bitch class. As I said, she's on the small side, so I don't expect much. I used to show dogs 25 years ago, so this should be a hoot! I will be a wonder if I can get down on my knees and get back up again! LOL I'm planning on going to the Contra Costa kennel clubs confromation training on Tuesday night. Time to see if she'll even walk on a lead around other dogs. Trish PS We share the same BD, only I'm way older the you are. My daughter was also born on 2/14. She's older the you too! |
