| New to Phoenix, AZ Hi Yorkie lovers, My yorkie and I relocated to Phoenix recently and I would love to meet other yorkie owners in the area. I was wondering if anyone new any reliable places for pets to stay for a long-term stay (3 weeks) that won't be too costly. Unfortunatly, I need to leave the state for training for 3 weeks and they do not allow pets there. I don't know anyone here and want my little one to be in good hands. Any suggestions of places for her to stay or anyone willing to take her in for 3 weeks? Marilyn |

| Thanks for the welcome shelly. Yes, it's been difficult not knowing anyone here but hopefully I will get connected. My yorkie's name is Szaz. She is 4lbs and 3 years old. She is the love of my life now. I tried posting a pic, but I can't seem to get it to work. |

| Welcome. We have been here about a year and live near Surprise. We take Zoe to the PetsHotel at Petsmart in Glendale off of bell road, I think it is 73rd Avenue and Bell. They have several options there. We let Zoe stay in the atrium room. It is her own little room that has a little bed for her and has a TV where she gets to watch animal shows. I don't know how much it costs though. Just in case you are near Surprise. They have a nice dog park (one for the small dogs, and one for the big dogs) it is off of Bell & Bullard near the Surprise Library. Zoe is almost a 1 1/2 and weighs about 3 1/2 pounds. She is really shy though, so we usually go to the park when not that many dogs are there so she can wonder around. There are also a few yorkies that we have seen out there. Hope you like it here.
