Hi everyone ... I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jenn and I'm from Southern California (South Bay 310). This forum doesn't seem to be very active, but I am probably going to be looking to buy a Yorkie within the next year so if anyone has any advice or knows a good (and affordable) place to buy a Yorkie, let me know!

Not very active??? It usually takes me an hour to catch up with what everyone's been posting!! Maybe it's bc you are only looking in the SoCA area. Go to the forums pages and you'll be surprised at how many people are on here!! I too live in So CA. Hesperia. I have 5 Yorkies right now. In a couple of months, I'll have more (puppies)!!

Welcome, Jenn! Our forum has slowed down a bit but before you know it, we will be hopping once again! You came to a good place. We have YT members that live in the California area that could assist you in finding your forever pup. There are a lot of good avice here in searching for a good reputable breeder with good quality dogs. Good luck in your search!

Hey, welcome to YT. Whatever you do, just avoid Sandy @ Wee R Yorkies. They sold me a puppy with worms and a roached back for $1500. They refuse to believe the back problem is a genetic defect and they think that I've been starving my dog making his back look arched. They said to sell the dog if I don't like it. They're excuse for selling a defective dog was "You bought him as a PET!! You don't need a standard dog!! You paid for a PET!!" *GASP* Threatening voice at the customer.. a no no. Vetrinary bills up the ***.

Anyways, again, welcome to YT.
