| Welcome to yorkie talk. I am not from San Diego, but I do go there twice a year in January and August for a bear show I do at the Scottish Rite Center. We usually bring some of our babies there with us. Last time we were there, I had asked about groomers in San Diego. We figured that we would get the dogs groomed on Sunday while we did the show. Then they would be ready when we got packed up to go home. The groomer recommended was Teresa and she works at Dunk'N Dogs (I believe she is the owner), 3056 Clairemont Drive, San Diego, CA 92117 -- 619-276-3047. We made an appointment (she is in on Sundays) and she did a terrific job on them. All 4 of them looked wonderful. I don't remember her prices but I do remember they were very reasonable. I don't know about vets there, but hopefully this will help you out. Maybe we could get together sometime when I am there for a show. Welcome to YT! Sonya

| Welcome to YT!!!!!!!!! I am in Orange County, but my DH and I have good friends that live in Chula Vista, and we get together with them at least once a month or so. I know they're coming up here for a Dodgers game with us in early April, but then we'll probably be going down their/your way later in April or early May. Maybe we could work it out to meet up with you on one of our visits. Are you in San Diego proper? If there are other San Diego YTers and you could get a meet-up together, I'd love to plan our trips down there around that !!!! Last edited by Sukoshi's Mom; 03-25-2008 at 07:24 AM. |

| Hello, We also live in San Diego. If you live in the North County (Mira Mesa area), I recommend Rancho Mesa Hospital for the vets: Rancho Mesa Animal Hospital - Home They are very nice, helpful, and affordable as well!! For the Groomer, we haven't try that yet, Cali is 5 months only. For training, we attend the Humane society classes, which are very good!!

| Another one here in N SD..I just joined that yorkie meet up. I've only been to several dog parks and benny is so small and is easily intimidated by other breeds so I really look forward to benny being around his own kind |
