| Just saw the website advertising more "teacup", "doll face" Yorkies. WHAT A LOAD OF BULL HOCKEY THAT WHOLE, ENTIRE SITE IS!!!

| It's not the Yorkie standard and usually denotes a juvenile look of a shorter muzzle that a lot of greeders use to lure people in and charge high fees. I've seen dogs with quite standard faces advertised as baby doll or teddy bear faced and looked at the dogs and asked if these are the ones advertised! Just because a puppy has a short muzzle as a young puppy doesn't mean it will retain that look as it grows. The term is routinely used with or without "teacup" to rope in people willing to spend anything to get a perpetually juvenile looking dog rather than a dog bred for quality, good health and its conformation to the standard. I personally think the baby-doll face is cute to look at but am far more concerned with health and the quality of the dog rather than it's look in the face when buying a new dog. I heartily wish more people would insist on high-quality dogs rather just the eye-candy aspect - we might have far less health concerns in this breed. But a breeder going for a certain juvenile look to sell dogs often foregoes worries of existing unhealthy conditions in the breeding dogs and their lines and sacrifices that to the eye-appeal of the "permanent puppy" look.

| Ajjls Yorkies are still over breeding yorkies and they are all kept in the confines of her basement in cages. She repeatedly takes them to rescues in horrible condition- black teeth, dried feces, nails so long they are embedded into the pads. She takes them to far away rescues. And yes, she is always advertising all over the place. I've heard that she now has 60 plus dogs......Please do not buy her dogs!!! |

Just a thought, but does anyone know if a person selling this many pups should be reporting it as income?

| Give me a break OK, so I have read all of the reviews of Ajjls, and I have to say, none of you have actually been to the breeders house, or done your research. I am sure you are writing for the benefit of other competing breeders. I have been to the breeders house, met her, met her dogs, seen the facility, met the puppies, as well as watched nearly every Utube video of her and her pups, as well as other breeders videos. Her dogs are happy, healthy and beautiful. Her pups are happy, playful, well adjusted, and of better quality then any of the other pups I have seen from most other breeders with the exception of one other that I have seen. Her house is clean, which is why it looks clean on the videos. The puppy playpens are clean. You can watch live webcams of the pups and see for yourself! If you care to watch other breeder videos you will see that the puppies in them are scared, and not happy. The breeders simply show them up close to show size and face, holding them by the neck to control the head movements. If you actually watched Ajjls videos, you will see happy, playful, healthy pups. Her videos are the only ones that show the puppy playing, or being held! If you care to read the website, it is very clear that the word "teacup" is used as a search engine term. She states that. The only way to get any traffic is to be SEO and the word teacup is what everyone uses when looking for pups. Her dogs are to standard and are priced where other pups are priced at. So, if you are actually looking for a yorkie you will know this breeder is worth going to, all other comments are obviously from competitors. |

And the fact you are a one post wonder does not help your credibility. Most are thinking you are affiliated with the "breeder" in question.

| I am new to the yorkie world and have been researching and interviewing breeders in person and on the phone for months. I am disgusted by the lack of ethics and breed consciousness I have found from many many breeders, or people that call themselves breeders but who are really just brokers for puppy mills. I have found the same photos of the same puppies on numerous sites. So yes, that review was my first post, this is my second. I am NOT affiliated with any breeder, I am just looking for a healthy well bred puppy. I just happen to do a LOT of research and I know what I find. I found the reviews I was critical of absolutely opposite of what I found in person and wanted to get it out there since our of dozens of breeders there are only a couple as I stated that I would buy from and this is one of them. |

| $3800? What is the pedegree? I know it doesn't mean much but it means the breeder is doing there best to better the breeding. My Winnie is from alot of Champion lines. With Bob Westminster and world champion yorkie. In there. She was under 2k. My new on was showing and was way less then that. $3800k there better be something other then per quality. Puppy better poop gold. Greeder..Damn can't spell or post pics on my phone Last edited by ironmike86; 05-31-2015 at 11:17 AM. |

| Alot less then $3800 More then 1/2 as much less. From a good breeder with a history or breeding. Mentored from previous breeders..Who doesn't even advertise pups for sale or randomly breeds them. But even good breeders can have problems nothing a guarantee. But not knowing the breeder in this post. Theres to many "no buy" signals a person who researches and loves Yorkies should see easily. So imo I'm not saying this to promote another breeder. I can get good for way less. JME/JMO Winnie is small. has a "baby" look. But she became pet quality because of it. And not sold to me for more. PPl would spend alot for 3lb Yorkies. She could easily do this. Last edited by ironmike86; 05-31-2015 at 01:10 PM. |

YT 1000 Club Member | I've Never Contacted This Breeder... And would never personally call her disreputable based on using certain terms that some deem inappropriate. It could be cultural or as another poster stated used to generate traffic for her site. Her prices are high, but if that is what she feels her pups should be priced at who am I to argue? I have the choice as a perspective buyer to accept her prices or look elsewhere(I'd look elsewhere but the price wouldn't be the deciding factor). Her sires/dams are out of standard and are unappealing for potential buyers who'd like a puppy as close to the standard as possible. Most puppies are cute, but when the puppy cuteness wears off there will be an adult dog that looks like its parents. If neither of the parents are within the standard, then that "cute" pup more than likely won't be either fully grown. |
