| Fabulous breeder in SC We purchased Lucy from a fabulous breeder in McBee, SC. I found her through the AKC registered breeders list. Her pups are raised (and loved)in home, vet checked & vaccinated, parasite control etc, microchipped, and typically not released until they are 12 weeks old. She gives a 1 year health guarantee as well as copies of the parents papers and the sires DNA profile. We visited Lucy on Sunday evening but didn't get to take her until Monday so that Melissa could take her to the vet one last time and have her vet fill out a comprehensive health profile. (my vet was very impressed both with Lucy and with the information supplied by the breeder) Now, you will sign a spay/neuter contract and also one that says if you ever decide you can no longer take care of your pup you will return her to Melissa. I find both of those things positives as well! She hasn't updated her website www.mustardseedmeadows.com in awhile but it does include her contact info, pics of the dams and sires, and a copy of the contract. I will also say the pictures don't do her yorkies justice at all. They are GORGEOUS in person- well behaved- and have beautiful coats and coloring. You can check the AKC site to see if she has any pups available. I believe she still has a few right now and has another littler that isn't ready to be released yet (born at the beginning of June) but she doesn't have litters year round by any means so you'd just have to check when you are ready. I did quite a bit of research for a breeder near the Charlotte, NC area and I'm soooo glad I found Melissa!
