Senior Yorkie Talker | Chicago/Suburg Groomer I just had a great experience with a groomer and I thought I would share it. Groomer Amberly Schmidt just left my home and she was great with my Lola. She was patient and gentle. I normally don't feel comfortable walking out of site when my girl is around a groomer, but after about 20 minutes I left the room because Amberly was so great with my dog. She listened to all of my requests and even double-checked along the way. The best part is that she came to my home and groomed Lola. It was a little on the pricey side for me because she's based out of Schaumburg, but it was well worth it. However, if you're in Schaumburg or the surrounding area I think she's a bargain, especially since she'll come to you. I will definetley be using her services again. Here is her website for anyone interested: Grooming

| Also have a lola My 7 month female is also named Lola. I live in the next suburb over from her in Roselle. After looking at her website I don't really see too much about her grooming experience. I was wondering what you had done by her to your Lola. I'm looking for a complete haircut and not even so much of the bathing. Did she give your Lola a haircut and if so how did she do? |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Oh another Lola, how sweet! I had her give her a bath and brush her out. She got her ears cleaned and her nails trimmed. I did have her trim her hair, but not cut it. I told her where to focus her attention on the trim. I had her trim Lola's hair around her face, her paws, and around her furry butt. It turned out great. I'm sure if you contact her and tell her what you are interested in she will be happy to answer any questions you might have. She's really sweet. Attach a picture of your Lola and a picture of the cut you want (if you have a picture of it) and I'm sure she'll be honest as to whether or not she can acheive that look for you.

| Amberly Schmidt I took your recommendation about Amberly Schmidt. I called her on Thurs. 12/11 and she came out Fri. night 12/12. You were right on all points she was great. She had so much patience with my Lola that she stood for over an hour and combed out all her tangles before cutting her hair and as you know she does not charge by the hour so this is all her time. She gave her a complete "puppy cut", cleaned her ears, cut her nails and brushed her teeth. I've had Lola groomed twice before at another groomer with unsatisfactory results. With Amberly doing this right in your house she cut her exactly like we wanted. I want let everyone know about her because today it's rare to get get good service and dedication like she has. Thanks again. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | I had Amberly groom Lola today and decided to take some before and after pics. She looks kind of the same because this is the length I like to keep her hair, but she's more cleaned up. The first one is the before pic and the second two are after pics.
