Has anybody heard of this breeder/pet store? I answered an ad about yorkie puppies, I wanted to know more about the puppy and the breeder and this is just part of what they sent me: " WE ARE NOT A PET STORE We work with a small group of breeders who we have put together over ten years. The puppies are Home Raised. It is not a coincidence that one puppy is cuter than the next, that's because we are very selective in our breeding programs and we strongly believe in "out line breeding". The puppies are NOT RUNTS, they are bred to be small. We can only give an estimated weight on the puppies since nobody can really know what their exact weight as adults will be. We base their weight from the size of the parents and the breeding background. We work with several registries, ACA, CKC, APR or AKC. Some puppies have "Champion Backgrounds". New litters are available threw out the year— We have SAFE shipping to most of the US for around $295-- our puppies are worth every penny to guarantee a lifetime of happiness --what is that worth --$1 or $300 for a lifetime so shipping is a small price to pay for one of the best puppies you can find--" The web site link they sent me is: www.puppyparadise.com This sounds like a puppymill to me........the web site says they will do "puppy parties" who in the heck ever heard of that? It makes my skin crawl.... They claim to have been "kitten & puppy consultants for 20 years."

I really want another yorkie, so I think I am just going to go back to the breeder where I bought Bailey. She is here in Nevada so I don't have to go very far. The puppies are healthy and have a wonderful temperment. The breeder is very nice, her puppies are just alot of money. They have a puppy available soon that would be Bailey's 1/2 sister, she is 10 weeks old right now.

I'm sure some of the petstore/puppymill supporters here will tell you it looks like a great place to save a puppy. I say stay away and do a search on YT, this place has been discussed many times and its bad.

How sad!! All those poor puppies........I don't undestand how places like that stay in business. Especially if so many people know what kind of business they do and the unsanitary conditions. I have never bought any pets from a pet store, I hate going into them. They always look so sad; all cramped up in those cages.

| I would stay far away from them. They have way too many puppies. Just had to say though, I went to their website and looked at some puppies, curiosity got the best of me. Anyways I saw a cocker spaniel puppy and she is a chocolate roan color. I have never seen this color on a cocker spaniel, she is gorgeous. I am not sure if that color is accepted by AKC but it sure is a pretty color and I have never seen that color on a cocker, on other breeds yes but not a cocker. Ah, just checked, she is not AKC registered but UABR registered. I wonder if that stands for United All Breed Registry. Alright I am done, I was just comenting on the pretty and unique color.
