I received this reply in response to the complaint I sent yesterday. PLEASE, to all that have actually been to Jeff Dane's place, send a complaint to the address below! Those of you that even know for sure of sick puppies sold etc please also send your complaints. Let's follow through with this in hopes of saving these poor animals!

We will look into the matter and if anymore information is needed from you we will contact you. We will also contact you so you are aware of the status of the matter. Is there anyone in Fannin County that we can contact regarding this complaint? We appreciate your concern and the information.

OH GOOD! Hopefully they don't tip Jeff Dane off that they're coming like the ASPCA did with that other lady (read it in another thread) and they nail him.

I am glad to hear that you had some response to your e mail. I am horrified about the JD thing

. After a second look at his web site there are some "red flags" there for sure. I pray that the people who correspond with you, do indeed, get back with you to let you know what the status is on your concern. Please keep us all informed. Keep up the pressure!

GOOD JOB

I don't know anything except what I have read here, but people like him need to be put away!!!!!!! A good friend I traveled with showing dogs and I crawled over a 6ft. fence, topped with barbed wire, took pictures and got one of these HORRIBLE puppy mills shut down back 20 years ago. It's a great feeling. Hope people come thru and help you! Keep up the good work!

Could you PM any that have actually bought puppies from him or been to his kennel? If you don't follow up with proof, they may not go out to check on him now or ever even listen to complaints about him again. Please, if you can, follow up while you have their attention. Good Luck. I, for one, appreciate your attention to this matter.

I have pm'd Joanna that started the other thread re: Jeff Dane.
I replied this:

Mr Moore,
I became aware of the conditions at Jeff Danes when I was living in Grand Prairie and went to look at a pup. I was in the process of moving and have just now had time to try to notify someone to get these poor animals out of there.
I do know a lady in the area that was just there and am trying to reach her to file a complaint with you. She did not know who to contact or how to handle this issue.
I have known of his place for over a year and have heard massive complaints however until I saw it myself I felt like I could not do anything.
AKC, I was told, investigated him BUT gave him weeks of notice before they went there. I really don't have a lot of faith in the AKC now anyhow cause they are overloaded with complaints and have just gotten too big to do their job properly, in my opinion.
I appreciate your concern with this as it is just heartbreaking to see how those babies are living!
Please advise when you find something out about this matter! I will continue to try to contact the people to send complaints to you.

Thank you guys for coming out of the woodwork (those of you who have dealt with him) to help me. I am going to email the Fannin County sherriff's dept. today. My mom is an active member of PETA and she is going to help as well. By the way, I have been doing research online, and found out a year or two ago Jeff was breeding what he calls "big bad yorkies" a mix between a rottweiler and yorkie (artificially inseminated of course). This absolutely appalls me. I haven't heard anything more about it and he took the pictures of these "big bad yorkies" off his site. I am sorry, but I don't understand how that is in any way humane or even legal! I am going to do my best to put a stop to all of this but in the meantime lets just do our best getting the word out about this guy.

Joanna I am so glad you came online. Please email the sheriff soon as possible. Maybe if we keep this fresh on his mind something will actually be done!

If there is no one local you can find that's not a problem. We will do what we can on this end and involve whatever entities needed. Please understand that this make take some time and more than likely the matter will not be resolved over night.

I just sent an at length detailed email letter to Dateline NBC asking them to investigate Jeff Dane. I gave them his address, web-site address, the Fannin Co. Sheriff name, address, phone, email, a copy of the first post in this thread plus it's url. I hope they will consider it!!!!
