Donating YT 14K Club Member | One has to remember that there are so many yorkie breeders now that yorkie pups are flooding the market. I've seen prices lowered in the Houston area because of it.

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I have no problem holding on to him until he sells but the longer I have him....the more I get attached. Its bad enough that every time I take him out of his xpen he has to run and jump up and kiss my face! |

| Hi Breny girl, It may not be true for everyone but it is for many, including me. Puppies are selling very slowly. In the past it wasnt rare for all but maybe one puppy to be reserved before they were ready to go. But its not the case this time. I think the economy isnt in the best shape and people just arent thinking puppy, they are thinking groceries and gas. I know at my husbands job they generally have 4 million dollar yrly sales but it is at 2.5 million this yr. Almost half of what it was in the past three yrs. So I think it is going in all areas not just pets. ........As far as yorkies too.......the market is saturated with puppies. ALot of people are raising them right now. Its a puppy buyers market I think. If your like me (and your alot like me ) the longer you keep the lil guy the more he becomes a part of your own family. Have you tried lowering this price to maybe meet another income level who could give him a wonderful home and afford him? |

| The high gas prices have to be hurting a lot of people. I haven't advertised for my litter yet or even called anyone on my interested list, but I have been calling the Yorkies advertised and they are all gone within two days so I am not that concerned. |

| Many animal activists place fake ads on free sites 20 at a time for 10% of market prices. A buyer who attempts to contact these sellers never receives an answer. The purpose of this process is to cause confusion in the market. The buyers wait for one of these fantasy transactions to become reality. None of this works in media where the price for advertisement prohibits this game. |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | I guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet and advertise in the nearest big city papers (which is the Detroit area) Its like $70 for a 7 day add, and $50 for just Sunday! So it makes you take out the 7 day ad. Its crazy |
